CATS Alumni to present
Free to Be…You and Me!

(November 25, 2013-Arlington, TX ) In celebration of Creative Arts Theatre & School’s 35th Season, CATS Alumni will be presenting a special benefit production of the children’s classic Free to Be...You and Me! Directed by longtime CATS friend, Linda M. Lee, this will be an exercise in modern nostalgia. The production based on the highly regarded 1972 book by Marlo Thomas and Friends. This classic of children’s entertainment uses poetry, songs and sketches to encourage such values as individuality, tolerance and comfort with one’s identity. The overall message, which aligns beautifully with CATS’ mission, is that anyone, whether a boy or a girl, can achieve anything.

CATS alumni are sponsoring the show, and have created a “Go Fund Me” page (http://www.gofundme.com/4zjnj4) to solicit contributions to the production, with all proceeds benefitting the CATS general fund. The extended CATS family invites everyone to catch up with old friends, make new ones and have an opportunity to come play again.

Free to Be…You and Me! will play Friday, January 3 at 7:30 and Saturday, January 4 at 2:30.

Ticket prices are: adults-$15.00; students, military, and seniors (ages 55+) - $12. CATS Alumni is presenting the show at Mosaic, located at 817 W. Park Row, Arlington, TX 76013.
